Description

Dropbox is a file hosting service that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud, and client software.

They provide an API to allow to third party developers to integrate with Dropbox.

Any hardcoded Dropbox Key is a potential secret reported by this detector.

Accidentally checking-in the key to source control repositories could compromise your Dropbox account.

Suspicious activity could be detected by checking the analytics at your Developer Console.

Remove the Keys from the source code or committed configuration file.
Follow your policy for handling leaked secrets, which typically require revoking the secret in the target system(s). API Key revocation can be handled from your Developer Console.
